Florida Surf Film Festival Announces First Quarter 2026 Programming


Daytona Beach, FL – Florida Surf Film Festival, presented by Monster Energy and Surfing's Evolution and Preservation Foundation ("Endless Summer" license plate in FL), and in partnership with Daytona State College’s School of Digital Media Production, returns to the News-Journal Center on Sat., February 7th, featuring an incredible line-up of films with all new work by filmmaker, Chris Benchetler, and Julian and Joaquin Azulay, otherwise known as Gauchos del Mar. Festival passes are now available, along with Green Room Memberships offering VIP perks such as reserved seating, meals, and drinks.

Saturday, February 7th – News-Journal Center

Saturday brings more international surf stories, from Antarctica to Alaska and beyond:

•       Antarctica - Domain One - The Gauchos Del Mar explore the far reaches down south-end of the planet, narrated by Kelly Slater.

•       The Endless Ride - Now Now Media shows us grind of being an inland surfer in Alaska and the commitment necessary to track down fickle, but dream-like tidal bore wave.

•       Pond - Izzy Henshall and Tosh Tudor find placid beauty on the east coast of Australia.

•       Aqua Obscura - Morgan Maassen looks into master photographer Ben Thouard’s underwater world.

•       Mountains of the Moon - Chris Benchetler explores the unseen connections between sport, life, music, and the living earth, set to the timeless tunes of The Grateful Dead.

•       5:00 PM: Doors Open

•       6:00 PM: Screenings begin with Antarctica: Domain One by Julian and Joaquin Azulay
