Photos are up from an incredible first night at our new venue, Daytona State College's News-Journal Center. Sid Abrruzzi flew down from Newport, RI to share a new documentary called Water Brother, by the Kinnane Brothers. Noah Beschen showed up as well to blow a few fins loose from the spoking energy of Hurricane Ernesto. His new movie, NOAH - The Art of Surfing filled almost 650 of our 850 seats. A great start to our incredible tenure at Daytona State. If you are keen to share your thoughts on the new space, you'll be receiving a link to complete a survey soon.
We couldn't be happier with our first experience at Daytona State College's News-Journal Center, and we'd like to thank Brad Moody at the School of Digital Media Production for making it happen, as well as the entire staff at the NJC. We'd also like to thank Atlantic Center for the Arts for housing our filmmakers, sponsors, and green room members when necessary to make it a truly architectural and Florida experience. Please check out their programs and community opportunities and membership opportunities. They bring an element of culture to our community that is unmatched by any organization.
Please support our sponsors in all you do. We value their commitment to storytelling.
