New Smyrna Beach, FL — Florida Surf Film Festival (FSFF), presented by Monster Energy and the Surfing's Evolution and Preservation Foundation ("Endless Summer" license plate in FL), is proud to announce programming for the Q3 2026 event, taking place Labor Day Weekend, Friday and Saturday, September 4–5, at the Atlantic Center for the Arts in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

More information is available at floridasurffilmfestival.com on the Green Room Annual Membership, which includes access to all events for the next twelve months, plus drinks, food, swag, and more.

We're kicking off Labor Day Weekend with a very special guest, USA Olympic surfer Kolohe Andino, who produced and directed FUDO, a feature-length surf film following the Steko crew as they sink their fins into Indonesia, Hawaii, Mexico, and more — featuring visionary surfing from our own Robbie McCormick. Both Kolohe and Robbie will take the stage to record a live episode of our Surf Stories Podcast in front of the audience. Immediately following, Eric Geiselman's band, Larkade, will play a live show in the amphitheater. We'll also be raffling off products from our longtime festival supporters — Creatures of Leisure, YETI, Roark, and Cronin Surfboards.

Saturday night brings new work from several up-and-coming filmmakers alongside two festival veterans. Torrey Meister hosts the East Coast premiere of Unmakeable, with filmmaker Tucker Wooding in attendance, documenting Torrey's approach to surfing heavy water around the world.  Join us for an all-time Q and A with the gutsy, slighty insane, Torrey Meister, and his creative partner, Tucker Wooding.

Hard to follow that, but we've also secured a new flick by Now Now Media called Rough Diamonds — A Father Son Surfing Journey, written by Will Bendix with photography by Alan van Gysen. Set along the rugged West Coast of South Africa, Rough Diamonds tells the story of Pete and Eli Beukes, a father-son surfing duo whose journey began along these shores more than thirty years ago. After finishing his time with the navy and heading to Lamberts Bay to work as a diamond diver in the early '90s, Pete discovered a volatile stretch of coastline brimming with waves. Years later, he shares these treasures with his son, Eli — though nothing comes easy along the challenging waves and wilderness of South Africa's West Coast.
